Jackpot Genie Terms of Service
This document applies to the Jackpot Genie app, published by Hare Trigger Productions, LLC. It is not a general policy for other products or services of the company.
Acceptance
By using Jackpot Genie you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is provided by Hare Trigger Productions, LLC.
What the app is — and is not
Jackpot Genie is an informational tool for recording lottery tickets you already own and checking them against publicly available drawing results. The app does not sell lottery tickets, does not accept wagers, does not pay prizes, and is not a gambling service. Jackpot Genie is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any state lottery, the Multi-State Lottery Association, Powerball®, or Mega Millions®. Those names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to identify the games your tickets belong to.
Results are informational only
Drawing results, prize estimates, and win/loss determinations shown in the app come from automated reading of your tickets and from public data sources, either of which can contain errors. They are provided for convenience only and are not authoritative. ALWAYS verify winning tickets against your state lottery's official results before discarding a ticket, and claim prizes only through official lottery channels. We are not responsible for prizes lost due to reliance on the app, including missed claim deadlines, misread tickets, or incorrect result data.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and of legal lottery-playing age in your jurisdiction (19+ in some states, including Nebraska) to use the app.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for keeping your account credentials secure. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
Subscriptions
Some features require a paid subscription, billed through your app store account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; manage or cancel them in your app store account settings. Free trial periods, when offered, convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends. Refunds are handled by the app store under its policies.
Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of information. Your use of the app is at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hare Trigger Productions, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including lost prizes or winnings — arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Responsible play
Lottery games are a form of gambling. Play responsibly and only with money you can afford to lose. If gambling is a problem for you or someone you know, call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-GAMBLER.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be presented in the app with a new effective date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
